(Reuters) – American Categorical Co (AXP.N) reported a 21 p.c rise in quarterly revenue on Wednesday as a strengthening U.S. financial system drew in additional prospects and inspired increased bank card spending.

Internet revenue rose to $1.62 billion, or $1.84 per share, within the second quarter ended June 30 from $1.34 billion, or $1.47 per share, a yr earlier.
Complete income, internet of curiosity expense, climbed 9 p.c to $10 billion.
