GAZA/JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Palestinian militants mentioned on Saturday they might halt assaults into Israel from the Gaza Strip after they fired the heaviest rocket salvoes throughout the border since August.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad, one of many armed teams that operates in Gaza, mentioned it fired the rockets in retaliation for Israel’s killing of 4 Palestinian protesters on Friday.
