Schooling ought to embody
studying respectful costume
Re: “Alameda: Trial costume code will get constructive suggestions” (Web page B1, Dec. 29):
What a disgrace that any faculty district feels it’s OK for youths to come back to high school in shorts of any size, hoodies, hats, even pajamas. Nothing like decreasing your requirements to cut back complaints from college students!
Shouldn’t schooling embody studying what’s respectful, accountable conduct and costume, and setting an applicable surroundings for studying?
Should you decrease the requirements, you’re solely going to get substandard outcomes.
It’s like educating to the bottom widespread denominator.Linda Thompson
