Newcastle’s Tautau Moga has reportedly been charged with assault in a Boxing Day incident.
Moga was reportedly charged for widespread assault on Friday.
“The Newcastle Knights have been made conscious of an incident involving a participant on December 26, 2018,” the membership mentioned in an announcement on Friday afternoon.
“The membership alerted the NRL Integrity Unit at an acceptable time and are co-operating with the NSW Police.
“No additional remark will probably be made.”
The 26-year-old NRL journeyman has performed with the Roosters, Cowboys, Broncos and Knights.
Moga is about to look in court docket in Newcastle on March 21.
