Mendocino Farms, a creator of seasonal and wholesome sandwiches and salads, has opened its first East Bay location at present — in co-founder Ellen Chen’s dwelling county of Contra Costa.
The restaurant joined the brand new Metropolis Heart Bishop Ranch in San Ramon.
House owners Chen and Mario Del Pero (they’re NorCal expats, and he or she’s a local of Lafayette) first began increasing their Southern California operation to the Bay Space a couple of 12 months and a half in the past. Every Mendo Farms will get a design of its personal, and this one is a glass-enclosed house that includes a hand-painted mural of “Mendo’s Meals Journey,” a wrap-around patio with foosball and a youngsters’s nook with the restaurant’s signature chalkboard wall.
