Police are investigating a deadly crash at Winchester.

Two folks have died in a crash involving a truck and two utes on the Peak Downs Freeway in Central Queensland.

Police stated preliminary info indicated the truck and one of many utilities collided head-on about 4pm on Friday close to Logan Creek at Winchester, about 220 kilometres south-west of Mackay.

The motive force of the truck, a 47-year-old Emerald man, and the motive force of one of many utes, who was a 48-year-old Moranbah girl, died on the scene.
