Surprising footage has emerged of a McDonald’s employee being sprayed within the face with a fireplace extinguisher throughout a horrific drive-thru prank. 

The lady was working on the Heidelberg retailer in Melbourne’s north east when two vehicles drove by the drive-thru early at 2am on Saturday.

Her father, Steve Pal informed Every day Mail Australia his daughter was fortunate she was severely injured from the prank.   

‘She may’ve been blinded,’ he mentioned.

Heidelberg Constable Kim Buffett mentioned police are investigating the incident. 

She mentioned that whereas there have been no bodily accidents, the employee had been visibly shaken.

A spokesman for McDonald’s mentioned: ‘The protection of all of our crew is our primary precedence, and we’re grateful this didn’t lead to a extra severe damage. 

‘This type of behaviour is unacceptable and we’re working with police to research.’
