OAKLAND — The names of two males killed by gunfire earlier this week in numerous areas of Oakland had been launched Friday by police.

A 66-year-old man killed at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday within the 8900 block of Worldwide Boulevard  in East Oakland was recognized as Thomas Romerson of Oakland.

Police haven’t decided a motive but for the killing and haven’t introduced any arrests within the case.

A  48-year-old man slain about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday within the 1400 block of Chestnut Avenue in West Oakland was recognized as Anthony Smith, who lived within the space.

No motive has been decided but for his killing and police haven’t mentioned if anybody has been arrested.
